Research projects
- Democratic Reform and Leadership Assessment Survey (in cooperation with the Center for Democracy and development – AUT): the purpose of this survey is to gage Lebanese public opinion through an extensive scientific phone investigation on important national issues essential for democratic development and reform. These issues include public services, privatization, security, sovereignty, freedom, corruption, international relations, constitutional reform, electoral reform, media reform, and the reform of party laws.
- Corporate Social Responsibility: this project aims to draft and lobby for a new law that facilitates private sector donations to civil society in Lebanon – in the form of tax breaks or percentage philanthropy – for the purpose of raising private sector social responsibility and strengthening national ownership of development.
- Separation of Power: a research-based project with the objective of drafting a law that strengthens the constitutional provisions which ensure the independence and integrity of the judiciary, helping to foster a democratic regime operating on the premise of the separation of powers and the rule of law.
